The main course offered at Spiddal Angling School is the course in Fly Fishing. The course is suitable for beginners to improvers and is customised to suit the needs of the client. The basic core of the fly fishing course is divided into 2 parts:

Part 1: Theory

This part of the fly fishing course takes place in the school that has all the modern equipment. The theory module broadly covers the following topics:

Part 2: Practical course in casting

At Spiddal Angling School, we are surrounded by lakes and rivers, just minutes away from good fishing!

Students are brought to the river and receive lessons in casting. Each individual is tutored at his/her own pace in a friendly and relaxed manner. Remember, we cater for all levels of competency, from beginner to advanced. Each course is unique and designed by us to suit your skills. Spiddal Angling School will provide all the equipment, however, it is strongly advised that you bring your own safety glasses and rain gear.

Spiddal Angling School offers many guided fishing trips. Individuals or groups, including stag and hen parties are welcome. Please contact us, so we can assess your unique need.
